* WHAT...Heat index values around 104 to 108.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and<br />
northeast Kansas.
* WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat<br />
cramps, heat exhaustion, and even heat stroke.<br />
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose<br />
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning<br />
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and<br />
heat stroke.
