Montana Special Weather Statement - Moderate | Effective 06/09/2026 11:23
Widespread snow will impact the Glacier Park region above 5,000
feet tonight through Wednesday as a cold system moves through the
area. Confidence is high for accumulating snow, with most areas
seeing at least 2 to 4 inches of snow above 5,000 feet. Isolated
snow amounts up to 12 inches will impact higher mountain peaks
above 6,000 feet.
Those heading into the backcountry and higher elevations should
prepare for winter-like conditions. An elevated risk will exist
for hypothermia.
