At 1124 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Santa Rosa, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Santa Rosa, Cuervo, Santa Rosa Lake State Park, Puerto De Luna and Newkirk. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 269 and 303.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
