* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Jones County in west central Texas...
Southwestern Shackelford County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain of over 2
inches in some parts of the advisory area due to thunderstorms.
Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area.

Northeastern Abilene, Hawley, Hamby, Lake Fort Phantom Hill,
Us-283 Near The Callahan-Shackelford County Line and Mccarty
Lake.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
