* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Jones County in west central Texas... Southwestern Shackelford County in west central Texas... * WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain of over 2 inches in some parts of the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Northeastern Abilene, Hawley, Hamby, Lake Fort Phantom Hill, Us-283 Near The Callahan-Shackelford County Line and Mccarty Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
