Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Callahan County in west central Texas...
Northern Coleman County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows
over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 205 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain of 1 to 2
inches due to thunderstorms in the advisory area, with additional
rainfall of up to an inch possible. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cross Plains, Novice, Silver Valley, Burkett, Rowden, Glen Cove,
Talpa, Us-283 Near The Coleman-Callahan County Line, Lake Coleman
and Echo.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
County Road 172 crossing Little Pecan Bayou and County Road 485
crossing Indian Creek.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
