Dry conditions and breezy winds will lead to near critical fire weather conditions today. South winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts of 25 to 35 mph are forecast for this morning and afternoon. At 1153 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of showers 15 miles west of Sheridan, moving northeast at 35 mph. Strong gusty winds amy accompany these showers. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Sudden wind gusts may impact drivers on I-90.
