Description:
At 638 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast of
Upton, or 17 miles southwest of Sundance, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Moskee and Inyan Kara Mountain.
This includes Interstate 90 in Wyoming between Mile Markers 175 and
185.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
