Description:
At 432 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fox Farm-College, or near Cheyenne, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Cheyenne, Laramie County Fairgrounds at Archer, Bison Crossing, Fox
Farm-College, South Greeley Highway, Cowboy Ranch South, and Grass
Hills.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
southeastern Wyoming.
