Description:
At 711 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Pine Tree Junction to 11 miles south of
Devil's Gate. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Homa Hills, Antelope Hills, Alcova, and Emigrant Gap around 715 PM
MDT.
Casper, Mills, and Bar Nunn around 720 PM MDT.
Red Butte and Paradise Valley around 725 PM MDT.
Evansville around 730 PM MDT.
This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 176 and 204.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

office in Riverton.
