Description:
At 447 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Devils Tower National Monument, or 25 miles northwest of Sundance,
moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hulett, Alva, New Haven, Oshoto, Devils Tower National Monument and
Devils Tower Junction.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
