Description:
At 812 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Esterbrook, or 23 miles south of Douglas, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Glendo, Orin, Esterbrook, Sibley Peak, Glendo State Park, Reno Cove
Campground, Curtis Gulch Campground, Two Moon Campground, Laramie
Peak, Esterbrook Campground, Bennett Hill Campground, Harris Park,
and Cassa.
This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 98 and
127.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
southeastern and east central Wyoming.
