At 538 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Elk Mountain, or 36 miles east of Rawlins, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hanna, Elk Mountain, Ryan Park, Turpin Reservoir, Brooklyn Lake, Brooklyn Lake Campground, Sugar Loaf Campground, Libby Creek Campground, Bow River Campground, Deep Creek Campground, Nash Fork Campground, Lincoln Park Campground, Snowy Range Pass, Silver Lake Campground, Ryan Park Campground, Medicine Bow Peak, North Fork Campground, South Brush Creek Campground, Arlington, and Centennial. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 238 and 276.
