Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Western Fremont County in central Wyoming on the east side
of Togwotee Pass between the Pass and Dubois, WY...
* WHEN...Until 830 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 742 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding may still be ongoing in the
advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Sheridan Creek, Wind River, East Fork Long Creek, Deception
Creek, Trout Creek, Brooks Lake Creek, Calf Creek, Lava Creek,
Papoose Creek and Middle Fork Long Creek.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of Western Fremont County, including portions
of the Pack Trail wildfire burn scar of 2024..

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
forest service roads. Find an alternate route or turn back to safety.
