Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Lincoln County in west central Wyoming
including Cokeville...
* WHEN...Until 930 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas and normally dry washes, draws, and
hollows. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or
is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 624 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen on
tributaries that flow into the Bear River upstream of Cokeville.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Christy Creek, Potato Creek, Quealy Reservoir Drain, Chalk Creek,
Spring Creek, Bear River, Boulder Ridge Draw, Sublette Creek,
Boyd Creek, Wood Hollow, Smiths Fork, Covey Ditch, Sublette Flat
Drain, Trail Creek, Dry Hollow, Ryan Creek, Leeds Creek and North
Lake Canyon.

Cokeville and Cokeville Municipal Airport.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
