Description:
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.
* WHERE...Southeastern Hot Springs County in central Wyoming...
* WHEN...Until 1015 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 714 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1.5
and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Rain is starting to decrease
and shift to the north.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Gardner Creek, Wildhorse Butte Draw, Hall Butte Draw, West Kirby
Creek, Lake Creek, Alkali Creek, Reed Creek, Kirby Creek and Mud
Creek.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Hot Springs County.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
