Description:
At 603 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southwest
of Mosinee, or 19 miles northwest of Stevens Point, moving southeast
at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Big Eau
Pleine County Park, Halder, Blenker, Milladore, Sherry and Junction
City.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
