Description:
At 116 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of
Wittenberg, or 12 miles south of Antigo, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include
Birnamwood, Aniwa, Elmhurst, Mattoon and Phlox.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
