Description:
At 1118 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles north of
Marshfield, or 23 miles west of Wausau, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include March
Rapids, Fenwood, Stratford and Rozellville.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
