Description:
At 553 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over St. Croix
Falls, or 31 miles east of Cambridge, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
St. Croix Falls, Centuria, Milltown, Balsam Lake, Luck, Straight
Lake Wilderness State Park, Range, Amery, Joel, Clayton and
Mckinley.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
