Description:
At 309 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Philippi to 6 miles north of Jackson Mill, moving
southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Clarksburg, Grafton, Philippi, Bridgeport, Shinnston, Stonewood,
Nutter Fort, Lumberport, Anmoore, Enterprise, West Milford, Lost
Creek, Flemington, Moatsville, Rosemont, Nestorville, Wolf Summit,
Meadland, Tygart Lake State Park, and McGee.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
