Description: 
At 158 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Bald Knob to Twin Falls State Park. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Beckley, Oak Hill, Mullens, Mount Hope, Mabscott, Sophia, Crab Orchard, Dry Creek, Macarthur, Bradley, Shady Spring, Beaver, Piney View, Stanaford, Coal City, Prosperity, Twin Falls State Park, Daniels, Powellton, and Lester. This includes the following highways... West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 28 and 65. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 120 and 126. Route 19 between mile markers 1 and 10.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
