Description:
At 603 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Emporia to near
Newsoms. Movement was east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Emporia, Boykins, Claresville, Green Plain, Capron, Branchville,
Brink, Adams Grove, Grizzard, Lanes Corner, Bryants Corner, Emporia
Reservoir, Worrell, Mason, Durand, Sebrell, Drewryville, Joyner,
Shiloh, and Slagles Lake.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
