Description:
At 421 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles northwest of Walnut Hill, or 13 miles northwest of Bristol Va,
moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Nickelsville, Dungannon, Benhams, and
Collingwood.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
east Tennessee...and southwestern Virginia.
