Description:
At 1115 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Scotland, or near Surry, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This strong thunderstorm will be near...
Smithfield around 1130 PM EDT.
Rescue around 1140 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include Rushmere, Pons,
Carrollton, Chippokes State Park, Benns Church, Bethel Church, Delk
Crossroads, Lawson, Central Hill, and Bacons Castle.
