Description: 
At 714 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Nottoway, or near Blackstone, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Blackstone and Fort Barfoot around 720 PM EDT. Dewitt around 745 PM EDT. Dinwiddie around 750 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include North Wellville, Irby, Ammon, Murdocks, Forkland, Darvills, The Falls, Center Star, Church Road, and Wellville.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central Virginia. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for south central Virginia.
