Description:
At 720 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wanship, or 9
miles northeast of Park City, moving north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Oakley, Wanship, North Snyderville Basin, South Snyderville Basin,
Peoa, and Rockport State Park.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 148 and 155.
US Route 40 near mile marker 2.
