Description:
At 514 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 15 miles west of Great Salt Lake South of the Causeway
to 12 miles northeast of Dugway Proving Ground Test Range, moving
east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Dugway Proving Ground Test Range, Delle, Clive, Great Salt Lake South
of the Causeway, Great Salt Lake North of the Causeway, Hat Island,
and Lakeside.
This includes Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 48 and 75.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
