Description:
At 204 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across slot canyons along Hole in the Rock Road, including
Harris Wash, Zebra, and Egypt 1, 2, and 3 Canyons. Up to 0.75 inches
of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons, normally
dry washes, creeks, streams and rivers in the area.

Harris Wash, Zebra and Egypt 1, 2 and 3.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Dry
washes, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a
matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
