Southern Emery County in central Utah... * Until 645 PM MDT. * At 342 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Chute and Crack Canyons. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons and normally dry washes. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Goblin Valley west to Little Wildhorse Canyon. The heaviest rainfall has occurred over Chute and Crack canyons.
