Description:
At 706 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southwest of Wellington, or 10 miles south of Price, moving
east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Wellington, Cleveland, and Elmo.
This includes the following highways...
US Route 6 between mile markers 245 and 260.
Utah Route 10 between mile markers 52 and 65.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
