Description:
At 1006 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 19
miles northwest of Great Salt Lake North of the Causeway, or 31 miles
southwest of Snowville, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Howell, Great Salt Lake North of the Causeway, Locomotive Springs,
Gunnison Island, Promontory, and Golden Spike Historic Site.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
