At 1156 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near New Harmony, or 14 miles northwest of Zion National Park, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Cedar City, Zion National Park, Enoch, New Harmony, Kanarraville, Hamilton Fort, Pintura, and Kolob Canyon. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 29 and 66. Utah Route 56 between mile markers 44 and 61.
