Description: 
At 622 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 21 miles southwest of Clawson, or 22 miles southeast of Manti, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Manti, Ephraim, Gunnison, Salina, Fayette, Centerfield, Aurora, Redmond, Mayfield, Sterling, and Axtell. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 50 and 80. US Route 50 between mile markers 155 and 158. US Route 89 between mile markers 226 and 264.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
