At 713 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Eagle Mountain, or 15 miles southwest of Sandy, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sandy, West Jordan, South Jordan, Lehi, Draper, Riverton, Pleasant Grove, Cottonwood Heights, Midvale, American Fork, Herriman, Eagle Mountain, Alpine, Bluffdale, Cedar Fort, Camp Williams, Little Cottonwood Creek Valley, Granite, Little Cottonwood Canyon, and Utah Lake. This includes Interstate 15 between mile markers 277 and 296.
