For the Virgin River...including Bloomington, Hurricane, Virgin, and
Springdale...elevated river levels are forecast.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Virgin River at Virgin.
* WHEN...Until late tonight.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM MDT Monday the stage was 9.0 feet (460 cfs).
- Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet (6996 cfs).
- Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with a
maximum value of 10.0 feet (1400 cfs) late this evening.
- Action stage is 17.0 feet (6996 cfs).
- Flood stage is 18.9 feet (8877 cfs).
