At 534 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of J B
Thomas Reservoir, or 13 miles south of Gail, moving northeast at 55
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Gail, J B Thomas Reservoir, Winston Field, Knapp, and Randalls
Corner.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
