Description:
At 552 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 20 miles east of
Marathon, or 30 miles west of Sanderson, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of south
central Pecos and northeastern Brewster Counties.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
