Northwestern Briscoe County in the Panhandle of Texas... * Until 130 AM CDT. * At 1223 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms with a history of producing winds of 60 to 70 mph were located along a line extending from 6 miles east of Happy to 5 miles southeast of Tulia, moving east- northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Tulia, Silverton, Happy, Vigo Park, and Mackenzie Reservoir.
