Description:
At 332 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms from near College Station to Conroe, moving southwest
at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Southeastern College Station, Conroe, Navasota, Willis, Pinehurst,
The Woodlands, Panorama Village, Shenandoah, Magnolia, Cut And Shoot,
Montgomery, Millican, Anderson, Woodloch, Todd Mission, Lake Conroe
Dam, Dobbin, Dacus, Wellborn, and Plantersville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
