Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Victoria County in south central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 1115 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 922 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Victoria, Guadalupe, Victoria Mall, Victoria Detar Hospital
North, Ball Airport Area, Victoria Riverside Park, Victoria
College, Victoria Colony Creek Country Club, Downtown Victoria,
Brentwood Subdivision, Victoria Regional Airport, Saxet Lakes,
Telferner, Nursery, Salem, Wood Hi, Mission Valley, Fordtran, Oak
Village and Inez.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
