Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Western Nolan County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 1215 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1019 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Roscoe, Champion, Wastella, I-20 Near The Nolan-Mitchell County
Line and Us-84 Near The Nolan-Fisher County Line.
- This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 229 and 237.
This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
County Road 137 crossing South Fork Champion Creek and County
Road 133 crossing Plum Creek.
