Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Runnels County in west central Texas...
Northeastern Tom Green County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 715 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 414 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Angelo, Miles, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Wall, Veribest,
Lake Nasworthy, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, San Angelo State Park,
Twin Buttes Reservoir, Grape Creek, Vancourt, Mereta, Tankersley
and Harriet.

Knickerbocker to South Bryant, College Hills and Millbrook, FM
2334 crossing Dry Lipan Creek, FM 1692 crossing Sales Branch,
Huntington and Sunset, FM 1692 crossing Concho River, FM 2334
crossing Ninemile Creek and FM 1692 crossing The Draw.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
