Description: 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following county, Gillespie. * WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 754 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges reported between 3 and 15 inches of rain have fallen over the past 48 hours. There will be residual areas of flooding of roadways and poorly drained areas. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible over the area in next few hours with storms moving in from the south. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fredericksburg, Stonewall, Tivydale, Crabapple, Cherry Spring, Cain City, Rocky Hill, Grapetown, Doss, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Blumenthal, Luckenbach, Eckert, Willow City, Harper, LBJ State Park, Albert and LBJ National Historical Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.
