Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Kinney, Maverick and Val Verde.
* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Overflowing
poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 646 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
Between 3 and 15 inches of rain have fallen over the past 48
to 72 hours. There will be residual areas of flooding of
roadways and poorly drained areas.

Del Rio, Brackettville, Lake View, Amanda, Laughlin AFB, Val
Verde Park, Standart, Cienegas Terrace, Long Point, Black
Brush Point, Diablo East, Amistad Village, Governors Landing,
Escondido Estates, 277 South Boat Ramp, 277 North Campground,
Lake Ridge Ranch, San Pedro Canyon, Devils Shores and Rough
Canyon Recreation Area.

Instruction:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
