Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring over
small streams and poor drainage areas.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Kinney, Maverick and Val Verde.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 430 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding in
the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area through 7 PM CDT. This additional rain will result
in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Del Rio, Brackettville, Lake View, Amanda, Laughlin AFB, Val
Verde Park, Standart, Cienegas Terrace, Long Point, Black
Brush Point, Diablo East, Amistad Village, Governors Landing,
Escondido Estates, 277 South Boat Ramp, 277 North Campground,
Lake Ridge Ranch, San Pedro Canyon, Devils Shores and Rough
Canyon Recreation Area.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
