Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following
counties, Kent and Stonewall.
* WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1127 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 4
inches of rain have fallen. The West Texas Mesonet near
Aspermont has measured 2.30 inches this morning, with a half
inch falling in the past hour.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Aspermont, Peacock, Swenson and Old Glory, including Highways
83 and 380.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
