Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following
counties, Kent and Stonewall.
* WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1037 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 3.5
inches of rain have fallen. The West Texas Mesonet near
Aspermont has measured 1.83 inches this morning, with 0.38
inches in the past hour.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Aspermont, Peacock, Swenson and Old Glory and include
Highways 83 and 380.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
