Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following
counties, Kent and Stonewall.
* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 955 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to rain
and embedded thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
3 inches of rain have fallen. The West Texas Mesonet near
Aspermont has measured 1.57 inches in the last hour and a
half.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Aspermont, Lake Alan Henry, Peacock, Swenson and Old Glory,
as well as Highways 83 and 380.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
