Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...East Central Tom Green County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is
occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 427 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated very heavy rain that could
produce up to an inch of rainfall in a short period of time
moving into the San Angelo area due to thunderstorms. This will
result in minor flooding across much of the city, and especially
in low lying areas.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Angelo, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Lake Nasworthy and O.C.
Fisher Reservoir.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
College Hills and Millbrook, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306, Howard
and Webster, Jackson From Knickerbocker to South Bryant, Parkwood
and Lindenwood, 1500 Block of Spaulding, Sul Ross At Red Arroyo
Crossing, Huntington and Sunset, Huntington and Sunset and 300
block of North Archer.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
